CORE STRENGTH: OUR FLAGSHIP TRAINING
Based on the proprietary CORE Policing Model, this is our comprehensive two-day training. We walk officers through each process of the CORE Operating System. Participants are provided with the CORE lens, language, processes and on-the-ground practical tools for effectively navigating the high-stress, high-stakes public safety arena. CORE Strength is an eight-module training that includes instructional presentations, powerful videos, large-group discussion and breakout sessions with scenario-based exercises. The program inspires purpose and promotes accountability, community, integrity-based leadership, and wellness.

CORE De-Escalation | It’s critically important that officers know how to safely stabilize confrontational and highly charged situations. This training equips officers to use the lens, language and processes of the CORE Policing Model™ to avoid reactivity and effectively defuse crisis situations.
CORE Wellness | Few people navigate a career in police work without having to cope with really tough emotions. Even the strongest cops feel the turbulence caused by daily stress, negative messages, traumatic experiences and the tendency to burn out. That’s why it’s imperative for officers to have reliable processes for dealing with the challenges that inevitably come their way. CORE Wellness is specifically focused on this.

CORE Connect | Devastating consequences can result when officers get disconnected from who they are and from the people they serve. That’s why one of the essential components of the CORE Model is connection—encompassing what the Model calls one’s “internal GPS” as well as “connecting in community.” This training module probes the importance of staying firmly anchored to integrity while also connecting meaningfully in relationship to others, including other officers and the community. This module gives officers the insights and tools required to continually stay centered and cultivate positive connections, find and build on common ground, and reduce polarization and escalation.
CORE Ownership | Developing the ability to "own and integrate" one’s actions and decisions is critical for optimal functioning and life experience, and nowhere is this more important than in the public safety arena. This training provides the lens, language, processes and practical tools needed for participants to take full responsibility for their actions and—just as importantly—integrate their experiences in a way that allows “mistakes” to lead to greater insights and integrity.
CORE Purpose | It’s easy for officers to become disheartened and lose sight of why they got into police work in the first place. This training counters that disconnection, helping officers reestablish their passion to protect and serve. Officers are taught how to recognize their specific gifts, talents and skills as well as how to confidently share and deploy them individually and as part of a team. The course also focuses on how participants can use their gifts and influence for the greater good, strategically empowering themselves and others.

CORE Bridge | Effective policing requires “bridging the gaps” that often exist between communities and public safety agencies. Through CORE Bridge training, officers and community members have open, productive dialogue that fosters the cultivation of trust, respect, common ground, mutuality, transparency and a sense of shared purpose.
